WHO WE ARE

F. C. Plecker and Sons, Inc. is a family-owned construction company located in Millboro, Virginia.

Clayton Plecker has been a business owner in Bath County for over sixty years.

He started in 1955 as a logging and pulpwood operation.

In 1958, Clayton partnered with his brother Perry to form a partnership known as Plecker Brothers. The Partnership operated as a construction company, building roads, ponds, etc. until 1972.

The partnership dissolved in 1972 and a new Company was formed by Clayton.

The Company was called F. Clayton Plecker and Sons, Inc. and was incorporated in the State of Virginia May of 1980.  Officers of the Company at that time were, F. Clayton Plecker, President and Treasurer and Wilma (Jackie) S. Plecker, Vice President and Treasurer.

The Plecker values have brought continuous growth of experienced people, equipment and clientele.  We are a full-service earthwork, mass grading, and excavation company capable of carrying out projects from pre-construction through closeout.

With the addition of Trimble’s 3D GPS grade-control system to our equipment, this electronic grade control has given us a better way to control our job site.  Operators are no longer dependent upon grade stakes and can grade with complete accuracy.  Also, with the additions of drone and AGTEK takeoff and 3D modeling technology, the Plecker team continues to grow and be a successful site management business.

This level of control lets us live out our faith and up to our core values of Moving Dirt With Purpose.  Ultimately, when we say we’re going to do something, our clients know we mean it.  This forms a true partnership, rather than just a contract.  With relationships like this, respect for one another is a moral obligation.

No matter the size of our projects, we’ll always remember where we came from.  It has truly set the precedent for how we operate today and inspires us to set a great example for future generations.
