Production Excavator Operator

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll operate excavators on grading and heavy highway projects across Virginia. Our operators work with modern, well-maintained equipment — much of it GPS machine-control equipped. Must have the ability to efficiently load haul trucks, maintain Cuts and Benches as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Operate Excavators safely and efficiently to finish grade
• Perform daily walk-around inspections and basic maintenance
• Read grade stakes and work with GPS machine-control systems
• Coordinate with foremen, grade checkers, and truck drivers on site
• Follow all company and OSHA safety practices

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years operating heavy equipment (grading experience preferred)
• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus
• Ability to efficiently Work Big Cut slopes,
• Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to work outdoors year-round
